NIMA was founded by siblings, Theodata and Yorgos. Based in Xanthi, Greece, the duo grew up surrounded by their grandmother’s threads, ropes, needles and hand-knit goods. With a fine appreciation for the past and an eye toward the future, Theodata and Yorgos create pieces that are inspired by the natural landscape around them. They work out of their home studio weaving, wrapping, and crocheting with the highest quality thread and rope.
