The Flamingo Candles story began in 2013 out of a love for the unique, attention-seeking pink bird. The launch collection included twelve brightly-colored, super kitsch jar candles each displaying the dapper Florrie the Flamingo. Since the first collection, the range has evolved and grown to include unique, directional and personalized designs all with added sass. Every candle is designed and hand-poured by our team based in South Wales, using natural soy wax, cotton wicks and the most scrumptious fragrances. Our candles have featured in national and international press including Cosmopolitan, Stylist, Marie Claire, Fabulous, Daily Mail, InStyle Germany, Daily Mirror, The Sun, Red, New, Notebook. We’ve exhibited at key national and international consumer and trade shows including Clothes Show, Stylist Live, Tendence at Messe Frankfurt and NY Now. In November 2015 we launched a pop-up in Topshop’s flagship store at Oxford Circus, London. In April 2018 we were awarded Retailer of the Year at the Cardiff Regional Awards. Throughout our journey we’ve launched collaborations with amazing licensed brands including Frida Kahlo and Hello Kitty, with new exciting partnerships in the pipeline.
